If you visit the world of social media from time to time i.e.: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, SnapChat, etc. You may have noticed by now that there are a lot of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on there, otherwise known as Mormons. They use hashtags like:

#ShareGoodness
#HappySunday (with the popular church attire picture)
#HisDay
#BecauseofHim
#LDS
#Mormon
#ItsCoolToBeAMormon

You get the picture. So why the correlation? Is it part of the Mormon belief to be a big instagrammer or blogger? Why do these people seem so happy? Where do they get all of the awesome quotes that they post? Are they amazing because they are Mormon? Or are they Mormon because they are amazing?

Have you ever stopped to wonder what draws YOU to THEM?

Not to mention all of the things you may have heard about Mormons… like… they’re not Christians, that they have horns, they have to have a lot of kids to make it to heaven, etc, etc, etc! There are a million MISCONCEPTIONS out there, and you may have also come across some truths about what the members of the LDS church really believe. So which is which? And who is Mormon? And what do Mormons REALLY believe? And WHY ARE THEY SO HAPPY?

Here are a few quick facts and fundamentals about the Mormon faith that you should know…

– We believe in God who is our loving Heavenly Father, His Son Jesus Christ who is our Savior and Redeemer and in the Holy Ghost.
– We believe that Families can be together FOREVER. Not just until death do you part.
– We believe that we lived with God, our loving Heavenly Father, before we came to this earth.
– We believe that God has a plan for each of us, we call it the Plan of Happiness.
– We believe the Bible to be the world of God, we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
– We believe that there is a living prophet on the earth TODAY. A man (like Moses or Noah) who leads and directs the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints under the direction of Jesus Christ himself.
– We believe that there are twelve apostles on the earth TODAY. Just like there were when Jesus Christ himself was on the earth and established HIS church.

And why do we believe all of this? Because we have prayed for ourselves— we have each asked God for ourselves to know if these things are TRUE. But you don’t have to take my (our)  word for it— Ask God in prayer yourself:
